5 Wellness Mobile Apps You Need In 2022
I have a confession to make — I am addicted to my phone.
I hate to admit this, but I use my phone too much — it’s the first thing I pick up once I wake up, and it’s the last thing I touch before I go to sleep.
I’ve been trying to change this habit, but haven’t succeeded so far. I will definitely keep trying, and in the meantime I decided to at least make my “phone time” less wasteful and more useful.
Instead of just scrolling through the social media, or working, I want my phone to be a tool that helps me feel healthier and happier.
And below are my personal top 5 wellness apps that I have either tried already, or am going to try very soon, that will help me achieve just that.
I Am Daily Affirmations
Effective app doesn’t have to be complicated, and I Am proves it. I absolutely love how they bring the whole power of affirmations straight into your phone for an endless dose of motivation and inspiration.
Have you ever practiced affirmations? If not, you should definitely try it! It’s amazing how such a simple thing can really make a huge positive difference in your life, your self confidence and happiness level.
Let’s face it — we have all been too stressed in the last few years. The world has always been a busy and stressful place, and COVID definitely didn’t make it better.
“Take a deep breath” — this is how Calm app greets you, and it immediately sets the tone for the whole future experience. Whether you are into meditation, or looking for help with your sleep, or are in search of a way to release stress and overwhelm, Calm helps you achieve it in a very nice way.
The app is beautiful, and it’s definitely one of the must-haves if you want to practice mindfulness or are working on your overall mental health.
Working on your goals might not be easy, but it can be fun! And so can your whole self development journey!
Breverie app is the cutest self development app I’ve ever seen. I absolutely love its aesthetics, it’s very interactive and is full of content that will inspire and motivate you. It’s like your personal cheerleader and accountability partner right in your phone!
And the best part — it lets you work on any goal you set your mind to. Whether it’s fitness, mindfulness, business or anything else — Breverie will help you set, track and achieve this goal. Sweet!
I’ve personally wanted to try yoga for many years, but for some reason I’ve been holding off. And I am very excited to have discovered Lotus Yoga app — it gives me absolutely no excuse to not start practicing yoga!
I love that it lets you choose the class based on how much time you have, what you are looking to achieve and your fitness level. Have 10 min to spare and want to do some beginner level stretching? They got you!
(I guess I’ll go do some yoga once I finish writing this article.)
Nike Run Club
I used to not like running. Until I tried running listening to Nike Run Club’s guided runs.
Nike states that their mission is to “bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world.” And then they add — “If you have a body, you are an athlete.” (I love this, by the way!)
I have to admit that they stay very true to their mission with this app. Their guided runs are some of the most motivational and inspirational pieces of audio content that I’ve ever listened to. Whenever I feel down, I grab my AirPods, turn on one of Coach Bennett’s runs, and run.
It doesn’t matter how far, or how fast, you run —in fact, you can walk if you prefer. It’s about how much more inspired and motivated you will feel 30 min later.
Honestly, try it — you won’t regret.
